I think Allure Trafficmaster is good product (not great, but good). It works.

There are several tricks to it. (1) If possible, first practice on someone else's home before you do yours. Practice makes perfect. (2) Always keep the adhesive sides CLEAN.

Keep the flooring in the box until you need it.(3) Use a precision laminate cutter to make cross cuts. Don't use a knife. Use a table saw to do vertical cuts. Protect the adhesive side with masking tape when cut.

(4) If you goof up, use a heat gun to separate the flooring pieces. Do not tear them apart. (5) If the adhesive sides are really messed up, use 3M #90 spray adhesive to reglue. #90 adhesive stick to laminate.

You can fix up separating boards by first heating (gently) with a heat gun and use suction cup floor pullers to lift up the flooring section. Re-glue with 3M adhesive. Spray on the adhesive on both surfaces. Wait 2 minutes to the adhesive becomes tacky.

Attach firmly. Do NOT wait more than 5 minutes before attaching.

Reason of review: Good quality.

Why in the *** would someone spend money on a new floor just to have to go threw all that to make it stick. Better yet as a veteran installer for more then 20 years why would I want to install it and have to go through all of that to install it. Just put dow full spread and be done with it.
